01Agreeing to these terms
Jawnetic ("the Service") is owned and operated by ROCKJAW LTD, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
02The service
Jawnetic is a fitness app that provides structured jaw training guidance: personalised programmes, guided sessions, progress tracking, an AI coach, a community, and, when available, AI jawline analysis from face scans. It is designed to be used with resistance chewing gum such as Tuff Gum. Features may change as we improve the app. Face scans are currently paused.
03Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Jawnetic.
- Give accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us straight away at support@jawnetic.com if you think someone else has used your account.
04Price and purchases
- The Jawnetic app is free. It has no subscriptions and no in-app purchases.
- The app links to ROCKJAW's online shop, where you can buy Tuff Gum and other physical products. Those purchases are made on the ROCKJAW shop at rockjaw.co.uk and are governed by the shop's own terms, delivery and refund policies, not by these terms. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
- If you bought a paid tier in an earlier version of Jawnetic, contact us at support@jawnetic.com about it. Purchases made through Apple are refunded only by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
05Apple terms
If you use the iOS app, Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement also applies. Where it conflicts with these terms in relation to the app, the Apple licence takes priority. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the Service or for any support or claims relating to it.
06Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful;
- upload content that is offensive, harmful, fraudulent or infringes anyone's rights;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems, or disrupt it;
- use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to access or extract data;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation.
07Community guidelines
The Community lets members post messages and images that other members can see. You accept these guidelines before your first post. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
- No abusive, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexual or violent content, and nothing that encourages self-harm or dangerous training.
- Do not post other people's photos or personal information without their consent.
- No spam, advertising, or misleading health or results claims.
- Posts with blocked language are rejected automatically. Any member can report a post or a member, and can block a member to hide everything they post.
- Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. A post reported by several members is hidden until it is reviewed. We remove content that breaks these guidelines and may suspend or close the account that posted it.
- To report a problem or appeal a decision, use the report option in the app or email support@jawnetic.com.
08Health and safety
Jawnetic is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. It provides general fitness guidance for jaw muscle training. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.
If you feel pain or discomfort in your jaw, teeth or jaw joint (TMJ), stop training and speak to a dentist or doctor. If you have a jaw, dental or TMJ condition, get professional advice before you start.
09No guarantee of results
- Facial appearance depends largely on genetics, bone structure, body composition, age, nutrition and sleep. No training programme controls those.
- Any visible change from jaw training is usually subtle and slow, and some people see little or none.
- AI scores, projections and simulated images are statistical estimates. They can be wrong and are not a measurement, diagnosis or forecast.
- Programmes are general fitness guidance based on what you tell us, not a medical or dental prescription.
10Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload, including photos and community posts. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process it only to provide the Service. We will not use your content for marketing or share it publicly without your explicit consent. Community posts are visible to other members by design.
11Our content
The app, its training programmes, text, graphics, logos and software belong to ROCKJAW LTD or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may use them only through the Service, and may not copy, redistribute or build on them without our written permission.
12Challenges
- Challenges and any prizes are run solely by ROCKJAW LTD. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not sponsors and are not involved in any way.
- Each challenge's entry rules are shown in the app before you join. Unless those rules say otherwise, to be eligible for a prize you must follow the assigned programme using the in-app session tracker and submit the progress evidence the challenge asks for.
- Images must not be altered, filtered, retouched or generated with AI. Suspected manipulation means disqualification.
- Winners are chosen at our discretion from verified evidence. Prizes are non-transferable and may be replaced with an item of equal value.
13Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Because the app is free, our total liability for any other claim relating to it is limited to £100.
14Ending your use
You can stop using Jawnetic and delete your account at any time from Account Settings in the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or harms other users, us or third parties.
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and update the date above, and tell you in the app about material changes before they apply.
15Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you also keep the protection of your local consumer law and can bring a claim in your local courts.
